This is a living document.  There are no more than three pens in each category and only one Grail pen.  I also wait at least two months to elapse after an acquisition before adding a new pen to the list.  This is to give me a good chance to work the new pen into rotation and assess how the collection works as a whole.

For background on the genesis of the Wish List, see here.

Lamy LX [in da haus!] This anniversary limited edition resembles the Al-Star, but with a some subtle upgrades that floats my boat. What colour? They all look awesome!

Karas Customs Ink It's quality, bro! A small shop machine-turned metal pen would make a great EDC.
Update: It's in da haus!

TWSBI Eco with Pendleton Brown's BLS modification (on order) I think this would be a good pen for use with ink with sparkles such as J. Herbin Stormy Grey or Emerald of Chivor.

Franklin-Christoph Model 19 I love my FCs so much that I wouldn't mind adding another one including this flagship pen.

Update: I still have my eye on this one but since I have 2 FC's on waiting list, this one is being bumped down.

Pilot Custom 912 or 823 I have the Vanishing Point and a Resin Falcon but I actually don't have a 'normal' mid range Pilot pen.

Platinum Celluloid Tortoise I read a recent blog from Anderson pens on the must-have Japanese pens.  A Platinum celluloid was one of these.  I debated long and hard if I should get a Koi or the Tortoise.  I settled on the Tortoise as its more in my design aesthetic.

Lamy 2000 50th Anniversary Pen I actually have no clue how much this pen will be but I assume it will be special.  In my review of the L2000, I already said I would get this pen no matter what.

Update:  Well, I know what it will be and I'm not sure about it anymore...Plus it's retailing for US$590!

Sailor Pro Gear (Rhodium Trim Naginata Concord Nib) In the same Anderson Pens blog, they mention that a Sailor Maki-e is a must-have.  The issue is that I want to get a Sailor with a special nib that is not available in the Maki-e pens.  As well, all the Maki-e pens have gold furniture.  So, I'm going for the special nib first.

Bexley Gaston's Special Reserve Bexley is an American pen company founded by fountain pen aficionados. They have some pretty pricey pens but this one is at a palatable price point and an interesting story.

Update: It's in the haus!

Edison Pen Company I'm interested in a pump filler or pneumatic filler. A double-ended pen would be cool too.
